It depends on how you travel.
Think about it this way:
A person I know is on the road around 300 days a year. He regularly visits Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
He is a true connoisseur of Hilton Hotels, Subway Sandwich Shops and McDonald’s worldwide.
Another friend of mine has never once been out of her home country. However, she has been planning trips to visit her coworkers and friends in Japan, Mexico, Germany, France, Korea, Taiwan, Russia, Switzerland and spends her free time learning what she can about their cultures, seeking out restaurants, festivals, etc that she can go to locally just to understand them better.
Travel doesn’t expand your mind – curiosity does.
