No customer has ever paid money for backend features.
When you are at the angel investment phase, spend your money on things people can see.
Make a pretty MVP. Put up a splash page that tells people what you aim to do and collects email addresses.

The key point here is… when you are lean, do not spend your money on things that your customers do not care about.
Sure, it may matter down the road, and when you have more money, you can spend it to make the change.
Until then, develop your proof of concept.
