Regardless of whether or not it is legally or morally correct to do so, the easiest way to approach anything like this is to ask:
“What is the desired outcome?”
“Is it achievable?”
“Is it worth the effort?”
and if so,
“What would it take to achieve that outcome?”
My personal take on this is that there is no defined outcome that would be worth the effort.
Leave it alone.
