I think that depends on your age, what perspective you put on it.
If you “re in your teens, one of the horrors is that you actually have to wake up at a time that you don “t control, show up day after day and do a job that someone else dictates to you in the way they want you to do it.
In your 20s, its feeling like you “ll never have your voice heard.
In your 30s, its feeling like you “ve not accomplished enough.
In your 40s, its feeling like you “ve spent 20 years doing the wrong thing.
In your 50s, its wondering which of all those teens, 20, 30 and 40 year olds are going to be the ones who squeeze you out of a job.
In your 60s, its wishing you could find a job as easily as you could in your teens and 20s.
In your 70s, its wishing you didn “t still have to work.
In your 80s, its wishing you hadn “t worked until your 70s.
