Something that a young woman needs to be prepared for about the tech world is that it is, for the most part, a meritocracy.

If you are skilled at what you do, people will know and respect you for it. If you happen to be nice and get along with people on top of that, you’ll never lack employment.

People who suck (unskilled, mean, etc) may seem to get ahead for a little bit, but they are found out quickly and drummed out.

People who are exceptional are also found out quickly.

It’s a pretty neat community.

She is eternal.

Long before nation’s lines were drawn –
