This actually happened to me so often when I was working at Evernote, I lost count.
One particular time, I was giving a training to some of our new Japanese employees and a few executives from a vendor, when in the middle of a sentence I’m saying there’s a loud:
“That’s not right. What she means to say is…”
Everyone turns to the back of the room as a fellow employee walks in, then proceeds to take over for the next 2 minutes to tell everyone how everything I’ve just said was wrong and they shouldn’t listen to a word I said, as he fumbled around on the screen trying to find a menu to prove himself.
He gave up eventually and walked out.
I then continued the training, showing the menu that had been moved as of this morning “s release.
