It’s simple.
I look at the problem at hand, and then I take it “out of context” and make no assumptions to find the solution.
For example, say you have a client that has said:
We have this great new bread and we want you to make toast with it.
Most people would assume that you have a toaster and just make toast, however a toaster would have to be assumed.
So, assume NO toaster, how do you make toast? And then, in what scenarios could you envision making toast worthy of the client’s great bread?
