The first step when it comes to anything is to search inside yourself and determine the reasons why you want to do it in the first place.
Motivation is entirely internal. There is something unique to you that will make you want to do a particular thing. Until you discover it, you will likely have trouble staying focused.
A few questions I would ask to start you off would be –
What is your definition of “healthy food”?
In all seriousness, this does require refining as this is a very broad category. For example, I consider healthy food anything that is made simply and with fresh ingredients – including desserts – whereas other people would require steamed rice and raw vegetables.
What outcome are you attempting to gain by eating “healthy food”?
What other ways can you imagine to attain this outcome?
What would your life be like if you already attained this outcome? Who would you be?
What is preventing you from being that person today?
Once you have answered all of those questions thoroughly, you should have a better understanding of what your motivator is here. Focus on the outcome, and you should be able to find a way to get there.
