I have found that there are rarely, if ever, two companies with the exact same value proposition.
Figure out what makes you different from them, build your company and then celebrate their success and use it as a yardstick to measure yourself against ( if you choose.)
“Beating” them is counterproductive though, because if you study them and determine what their market is, you can work in tandem and will find the gaps available for you to fill.
