If you are considering this, I’m sure that you are surrounded by tons of people telling you “no,” just like the majority of the people on here.
Someone telling you something isn’t going to convince you of something if you are already decided on another path, though. (Humans don’t work that way.)
So instead, I want to offer you a story of a friend of mine.
Not much older than 18, she was on the streets, entirely penniless. Her entire goal was to travel “away” from where she was.
She managed to get herself from Asia to America, and in America from California to Texas, then Arizona and now to Las Vegas.
Along the way, she took whatever job she could find, she relied on the kindness of every person who offered it (and some of them, not all, had ulterior motives).
She is unapologetic for her life, as it brought her toward her goal of “away.” But there is a sadness in her eyes that doesn’t go away.
