For any business idea, you have to ensure that your value proposition is sound and that you are filling a need in a useful way.
Here is the way I see your app as presented:
Two customer channels: entrepreneur and investor
Value prop to entrepreneur: get eyeballs on my idea by people who write checks.
Value prop to investor: Funnel people through here instead as a first line filter and search for interesting new ideas as your leisure rather than getting harangued by entrepreneurs all the time.
I see a few problems with this:
There will always be people bugging investors, so this won’t save them time.
There are already platforms out there for this, with excellent due diligence systems built in so investors don’t have to waste extra time.
And if it is mentorship and not investment you are trying to facilitate, there are platforms for that too.
What is your market differentiator? How would you propose to get the already saturated investors using another App to connect them with entrepreneurs directly (when the ones who want that already do, and te ones that won’t never will?)
