For appetizers, we make cocktail shrimp (brined and broiled, then chilled and served over ice) with multiple types of cocktail sauce as well as a variety of dips and spreads for vegetables, fruits and crackers. My husband’s favorite is my mom’s seafood spread, and my sister in law loves my white bean dip and edamame hummus.
We have Roast Turkey for both (Thanksgiving and Christmas), as well as a second meat dish, like Beouf Wellington, Prime Rib, Osso Buco.
For side dishes, we will do a variety of things like Indian Pudding, Sausage Stuffing, Cauliflower Purée, Mashed Potatoes, Balsamic Green Beans, Roasted Brussells Sprouts, Sweet Corn, acorn Squash, etc…
Desserts will be cookies, cakes, pies, fudge, sorbet, ice cream, and so on…
