I had a meeting one day with someone who was pitching me their business to try to get me to invest.
Without their once stopping to ask me anything, or even let me introduce myself, this person went into a pitch for their product. It lasted 30 minutes and covered pretty much everything under the sun.
It included this lovely nugget:
“So, let me explain how technology works…”
When he finished talking, I told him who I was, and to his credit, he asked for a do-over, left the room, came back, and apologized.
