I have had the incredible honor to work with such lovely and amazing people and mentors in my entire career that in trying to think of a “best” piece of advice I’m falling short – so perhaps I’ll do this a bit differently and try to come up with a sort of “greatest hits.”
Kathleen Kennedy Townsend taught me that you don’t know how long opinion is going to be in your favor, or how long you’ve got anyway, so make every moment count.
Shawn Broderick taught me that the point of all of “this” is people and relationships, so don’t screw them up.
Phil Libin taught me that if you get the right team together, you can accomplish anything.
Dave Engberg taught me how to be a silent guardian of culture by making sure that design, infrastructure and personalities are all in sync.
And most importantly…
Mark Rowland taught me that I’m so much more than I ever thought I could be, and showed me how to do the same for others.
