Next, you will need to sit back and truly analyze what it is that is causing you such distress. Is it the company? The coworkers? The office culture? The work itself? Or, are the feelings you have at work things that you are bringing with you to the job?
Often, people find when they stop and think about things (or think + talk to someone else in guided sessions), they will be able to determine the exact cause of their pain.
If the root cause is something within yourself, going to another job will not fix it, and may even worsen the feelings of helplessness and anxiety.
If the job was once something you enjoyed, try to determine what shifted to make you feel this way now. Understanding still might not give you the tools to to fix the situation, but it may give you peace.
