The very nature of the question presents an intriguing paradox:
If one were truly a “free thinker”, one would not be inundated by the explicit bias and fear that is clearly being portrayed by the question asker.
I can tell you honestly that if you want a place to shelter your mind, stay locked away in the relative safety of your prejudices, biases and fears, and keep yourself from opening it up to possibilities that reason and intellect will give you, that you should absolutely not attend St. John’s College (Annapolis / Santa Fe).
Students who metriculate there must be willing to open their minds to new possibilities, to enter into dialectic and debate, and to be found wrong more times than they are right.
Above all else, they must let go of their limiting beliefs and learn to question everything.
If this does not appeal to you, then I urge you to find somewhere else and allow people who are truly free-thinkers to continue their learning unsullied.
